thought process

I initially started off with the idea of incorporating something using our teams stregnths, as seeing that both Julia and Nora are German I had this idea of having something to do with the barriers of language and play on it's comedic effect. The initial idea being that there will be a girl main character who will be a foreign exchange student and will encounter all the problems that a foreign teenage girl that isn't very confident in the english language starting school in this country would feel and how different it will be.

this video is a typical teen (romantic?) comedy even though it may be 12 years old (having been made in 1999) it still has the stereotypical elements of a teen comedy, these are things such as sexual themes and innuendos, school/college setting, labels within teenagers of the time (there is a different betweens todays labels and the labels of the time of this film... labels also differ within regions such as America and Britain.
